Well we are back and trying to get into the swing of things again. It's weird how you can feel so out of it after only being gone for 4 days! I loved catching up with everyone's blogs last night when I got home :) We had a great trip to St. George and Dana had a great marathon. He smashed his old record with a finish time of 3 hrs and 48 mins! Whoo-hoo! Even with constant rainfall the whole time he ran.

This is the scene outside my cousin's house the morning of the marathon- the first time they've had rain on marathon day for 25 years. She has an awesome view. You can see the temple way off in the distance to the left. It's really pretty at night too.

Since Dana was shooting for 4 hrs I thought that was probably best case scenario with the weather being like it was, so in my attempt to avoid hanging out in a huge crowd with 4 kids (in the rain) we got to the finish line at 3 hrs 50 min. So we just missed him by 2 mins! This is my view of the finish line.

This is right after I saw him in the post finsh-line area. He's up on his feet- thats a good sign right? He actually felt better than he has after the other 2 he's done. He said the rain was kind of nice because it kept him cool. But once he was done running he started getting super cold and the clothes he was wearing before the race were still wet so we walked back to the car as quickly as he could and got warmed up and went and had a great lunch. My brother Jeff that lives in Las Vegas came out for it too. That was such a treat for my kids who cannot get enough of Uncle Jeff.

This is my cousin's daughter Bryanna who is such a sweet, fun girl (and a great helper) copying one of Sadie's favorite expressions. Thanks to Lauri for letting us stay in her awesome house! We had a super time :)
