Super Swimmer

Emma had her first swim team meet today. She was pretty nervous but she did great! She was afraid to get last place even though we kept assuring her that if she did, it didn't matter at all.

And they're off! She ended up with fifth place (out of 8) and was very happy! Go Greenfield Gators! They actually did the loud "beep-beep-beep" for the girls to turn around because one of the girls jumped the gun. You can see her in the picture. It was funny though because the girls just kept going and so they left it alone.

Work of Art

This Summer, along with Emma and Eli keeping their minds going with a little school work each day, I've started Holly doing a preschool workbook. She loves it! And it's so fun to watch her because she does everything so carefully and throughly (as you can see she makes everything rainbow). Then when she's done she says "Mo-om, look what I did.." like she has a big surprise in store. I ohh and ahh over it and she sits there with an ear to ear smile. She will LOVE preschool this fall I have no doubt. This was my first time taking a picture of a workbook, but it seemed like a perfect entry for my new blog!

Testing Testing 1-2-3

So I've been wanting to start a Blog of my own but didn't really mean to do it at midnight! I guess that's when lots of things get done in the mom life right? I've been looking at lots of other blogs for the last hour and they are all so darling! I'll have to get this figured out over time probably. Oh man Sadie's crying. The night-time wake-ups can't start before I even go to bed. I'll add a photo of each of my kids--
